I never thought to chill the filled hamantaschen before baking! No wonder mine don’t hold their shape. Orange zest is also good. (I haven’t made these in years, because my synagogue does a big hamantaschen bake as a fundraiser. I will definitely try these, though, because theirs don’t have enough filling for me!) Glad I found your site, Emily. (Could you add a Pinterest button to make it easier to save your recipes?)
